Meet Lindsay

Lindsay has over 15 years’ experience providing mental health services to youth, families and adults. Lindsay is here to support individuals experiencing symptoms of anxiety, depression and burnout to strengthen coping mechanisms and develop effective patterns of cognitive and behavioral responses. Specializing in perinatal mental health services, Lindsay is available to provide postpartum support to new mothers as they transition and adjust into motherhood, to assist those struggling with fertility challenges or whom have experienced loss and grief.

What can I expect in therapy?

It is expected and natural to experience a level of anxiety or uncertainty prior to an initial session. You can expect an opportunity to process and discuss your unique situation at a pace comfortable and determined by you. Therapy is a process, together we will explore stressors and solutions to challenges you are experiencing.

What type of Therapeutic Approaches Guide Practice?

As with most things in life, there is rarely a one size fits all solution. Mental health therapy is no different. Following a clinical assessment, we will create a practical treatment plan together to
target identified challenges in your current situation, develop effective cognitive and behavioral responses to distress and work together to improve coping and mental wellness.

Do you provide counseling services to youth?

Most certainly. I have 10 years experience providing mental health counseling to children, youth
and families. Early intervention and support for children exhibiting mental health, emotional or
behavioral challenges result in improved functioning and outcomes for children. Working with youth includes developing healthy patterns of thinking, learning positive coping skills when confronted with stress, anxiety and triggers and working with parents / caregivers to assist them in responding to their child’s challenges.

What are your fees?

Individual sessions are $130 for an hour long session. Couple Counseling sessions are $175 for
75 minute sessions. You may pay by cash or e transfer and will receive a receipt. Many insurance companies cover mental health counseling sessions with registered private social
workers.

Can I schedule a video or phone appointment session?

Absolutely! Everyone has a different level of comfort and preference for participating in therapy. Your comfort is a paramount factor in the development of a positive rapport and experience within a clinical relationship.
